A Bucket List Destination For Us.
We live in Arizona and I realize that we neighbor California. It seems like we could have popped over there anytime and taken photos of the Hotel Del Coronado, and we could have. However, this truly was a bucket list destination for us to not only show up and photograph, but to be hired to work an event there.
We photographed a wedding there, and it truly was a dream come true. We love the architecture of the Hotel Del, and it was inspiring to be able to not only capture it, but to also stay there. Here are a few photos of the Hotel Del Coronado through our lenses.
Old hotels have a reputation for being haunted and creepy. And, this one is no exception. BUT, I will say that this hotel also has a different level of beauty and charm that is different than a lot of other hotels we've photographed. I don't know if it's the ocean, the rich history or the mystery it carries (or all of it honestly), but this was one of our favorite locations to photograph.
